This is the time in the year when we must begin making plans for the Fall semester. Yes, it seems a tad early to me too, but that’s how it goes. The Husband and I know that we’ll be starting a marathon training schedule in the Fall, so we really need some direction on what to keep and what to let go of for the start of the next school year. I’ve started planning my kids’ course of study (homeschool) but as far as co-op, the son’s college courses, and the myriad of other activities we have, I have some decisions to make. The stress of it all is really getting to me. Rather than turn to food and TV, I’ve started reading more. The Husband gave me a Kindle for my birthday and I’ve already read three books (and started a fourth & fifth) since the end of February. While this response is certainly better than stuffing my face or watching mind numbing television, it’s still not ideal. Ideally, I should be turning these burdens over to the Lord and seeking His advice. Perhaps I’m afraid of His answer?
I know He’s called me to homeschool, but the rest of it, I’m just not certain about. I need to get on my knees.
