365 Raw: Day 71 with “Naps”

napI’m going through some mild detox. The headaches have been really intense. I was becoming really cranky too, so I put myself down for a nap… after a hot bath. I needed both and woke feeling so much better.

Later, the 8-year old and I watched Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. It’s been years since I saw it last, love it!

What I read: Deuteronomy 3-4

What I ate:

  • Breakfast – Green Smoothie (6oz AJ, 6oz CW, 3 bananas, 2.5oz kale, 2.5oz spinach, 7oz strawberries)
  • Lunch – 8 oranges juiced + 5 bananas
  • Afternoon Snack – Two moms in the raw goji nut bar & kale chips
  • Dinner – Two moms in the raw goji nut bar
  • PM Snack – Apple Juice

What I did: on my feet all day at co-op

Here are the notes I made regarding my symptoms throughout Day 71:

  • slowed digestion (gas, abdominal pain, bloating)
  • headaches – head was really hurting today
  • puffy hands, feet, and face
  • sinus congestion
  • dry/itchy eyes, skin, and scalp
  • acne
  • aching muscles and muscle spasms
  • foggy brain
  • irritability
  • mood swings
  • blood sugar fluctuations
  • fatigue – still having bouts of fatigue, but not as bad
  • unable to sleep well
  • unquenchable thirst
  • cravings
  • chest pain
  • cold soreslast one 1/13/2013
  • kidney stones – eliminated when we went vegan Oct 2011
  • tooth pain
  • sensitive teeth
