Ok, so I know it’s “that time of the month”, and I’m so much better behaved than normal for me, but I just wish that I didn’t have to deal with this at all. Every thing feels like a conflict today… everything. I’m glad that my emotional roller coaster doesn’t usually last longer than a day anymore, but I’d prefer not to get on the ride at all. I woke up this morning griping about how we have way too much going on and I don’t have time to get my runs in. This pity party came at the start of an unusually busy Saturday. We had promised to take the kids to a TKD event today and as I mentioned, I was a judge at the speech finals this afternoon/evening. Both events were great, but they definitely added to the pressure of feeling out of time.
It seems that these last two weeks I’ve had one scheduling conflict after another. Throw in a bit of snow to wreck plans through cancellations and delays and rescheduling… ugh!! Yes, I want to scream. So, having a hormonal nightmare today was just the tipping point. Also, I didn’t even realize I had eaten so little until it was too late to make up the difference… which I’m sure didn’t help things. Hopefully things will look brighter tomorrow.
