I really, really like the Sea Crackers by Two Moms in the Raw… until they hit my bowels that is. They slow down digestion, causing gas and bloating. At least that’s the effect they have on me. It could very well be that I eat far more than a single serving (which would be like one or two crackers). The cause is probably the fat content, which is higher than what I generally eat. I’m sure the salt doesn’t help either. So, I’m going to have to limit my intake of these things (note I didn’t say I would avoid them altogether). I like having them with salsa. Unfortunately, this is the closest thing I’ve found to “chips and salsa”.
I also have to be careful with raw nuts and avocado, as they slow down digestion too. I don’t like for things to get backed up. I feel so much better with smooth sailings.
