365 Raw: Day 53 with “Groceries”

Have you ever taken a look at what is in people’s carts at the grocery store? I never used to, but since we started getting comments on our contents, I began to look. We went on our trek around to the various stores yesterday, and again got the comments. “Wow, that’s a lot of bananas”… “Say, how many bananas is that anyway”… “Got a lot of healthy food there”… and then there are the people you catch staring at your groceries, or doing a double take. With a family of six, you can imagine the amount of raw fruits and veggies for a week of eatin’. Well, I decided to look at the carts of others and think of the goofy things I might say to them… Enjoy…

“Ever heard of a ‘leafy green’?”
“Would you like a side of angioplasty with those five pound ‘tubes” of ground beef?” – at Costco lol
“Wow, that’s a lot of packaging… and corn syrup… and preservatives you’ve got there.”
