365 Raw: Day 52 with “Tomato Soup”

Recently, the kids tried an experimental tomato soup recipe that didn’t turn out so well (heavy on the celery taste). I tweaked it a week later and they liked it much better (I’ll post it soon). After tasting-testing their hot soup, I decided I wanted a raw one. So, imagine my delight when Alison Andrews sent this soup recipe to my inbox.

rawtomatosoupThe family opted for Qdoba tonight. So, I decided to try Alison’s new-to-me raw recipe. I did alter it. I added three stalks of celery instead of one… and a bit of thyme for garnish. I wanted it to be a bit saltier. I was out of Basil or I would have added that too. It was very tasty. I’ll be having this again.
