365 Raw: Day 33 with “Kale Chips”

Day 33 found me craving chips. I saw a recipe for Kale chips, but I don’t have a dehydrator. The Husband found some packaged Kale chips (94% raw), so I gave those a try. They were ok. They did help with my chip craving, but I don’t think they are sitting on my tummy too well. PMS week is really messing with me – which I think is why I’m having some cravings too.

What I read: Exodus 10-12

What I ate:

  • Breakfast – 5 oranges
  • AM Snack – 1 bananas
  • Lunch – 10 oz blueberries, 4 servings Kale Chips
  • Afternoon Snack – 2 glasses of apple juice
  • Dinner – Green Smoothie (6oz apple juice, 6oz coconut water, 2 bananas, 2 oz kale, 2oz spinach, 7oz strawberries)
  • PM Snack – 4 oranges juiced

What I did: 33:43 minute run/walk at a very slow pace.

Here are the notes I made regarding my symptoms throughout Day 33:

  • slowed digestion (gas, abdominal pain, bloating)
  • headaches
  • puffy hands, feet, and face
  • sinus congestion
  • dry/itchy eyes, skin, and scalp
  • acne
  • aching muscles and muscle spasms
  • foggy brain
  • irritability
  • mood swings
  • blood sugar fluctuations
  • fatigue
  • unable to sleep well
  • unquenchable thirst
  • cravings
  • chest pain
  • cold soreslast one 1/13/2013
  • kidney stones – eliminated when we went vegan Oct 2011
