Oh how I did not want to get up the morning of Day 24. My stomach began to bother me last night, which is why I didn’t eat the salad.
I’m wondering if my intake is too low for the activity I’m doing. I felt like I would throw up after my run today. Because I’m not sore, feeling burn, or muscle fatigue like I normally would, I’m wondering if the nausea is the way my body is trying to tell me that it’s tired or hungry? I know I pushed myself to the point of nausea during TKD yesterday, but again, I didn’t have the usual signs that might tell me to hold back. So how do you hold something for reserve if you can’t tell that you’re pushing too hard? Hmm. That’s a tough one.
I read that nausea could be a detox symptom in the early days. Perhaps this will pass soon on it’s own. I posted a question on a raw forum. They told me to up my calories by at least 500 per day and make sure I’m drinking enough water (2-4 quarts per day). I’ve got to figure out how on earth I can get in another 500 calories. I feel like I eat a ton of food as it is.
