I woke feeling quite refreshed the morning of Day 18.
Some days need to be “rest” days. I figure if God rested on the seventh day, then who am I to think that I don’t need to rest? Well, today was a day that I took off. I laid around on the sofa all day reading… well, we had a bout of adventure when the 8 year old cut her finger wide open. The Husband ran a race today in the freezing cold; the 15 year old wrote up plans for his current programming project (gaming); the 13 year old practiced axels on the floor and pieced together another square of her quilt; the 10 year old played Wii (Just Dance), the 8 year old (after the cut) laid on the sofa listening to Adventures in Odyssey… and I read.
We don’t get a lot of down time around here when our normal routine is in full swing. So, we take it when we can get it.
