This was day twenty-four of my raw food challenge. I got about 7.5 hours of sleep last night.
The Food
- Breakfast – Green Smoothie (10.75 oz Bananas, 7.5 oz Berries, 3/4 cup Apple Juice, 3/4 cup Coconut Water, 1.75 oz Kale, 1.5 oz Spinach)
- Morning Snack – At church during this meal
- Lunch – Ate out – got a veggie salad, two fruit cups and 1 small apple
- Afternoon Snack – 1 Banana
- Dinner – Fruit Salad (2.75 oz Strawberries, 1.5 oz Spinach, 7 oz Banana, 1 Clementine, 1 Medjool Date) topped with a dressing (pureed 3 oz Strawberries, 1/3 C fresh Lemon Juice, 1 Medjool Date) and 1/3 C fresh Lemon Juice in water to drink.
- Evening Snack – 8 oz Apple Juice, 1 large Orange.
- Water – 28 ounces
- Calories – 1,534.9 (Carbs 91.5% / Protein 5.5% / Fat 3%)
- Fiber – 45.4 grams!
The Exercise:
- No Formal Exercise today.
The Results:
- As of Friday I’ve lost 8 lbs and 7.5 inches. For more information, check out my Week 3 Summary.
The Effects:
- I took a 6 hour nap today. I really needed it.
- I’m feeling the energy return and digestion is going much better.
