Hey Sana!! How exciting that you are going to join me! You don't have to be a blogger to participate. You are more than welcome to post comments here. I have another post coming out as a "kick off" for the challenge on Sunday/Monday. I think an exercise goal is awesome! I know of a 5K mid-June that is fantastic. Even if you don't think you'd be ready to run the entire thing, you could still do it (there are lots of walkers). It's primarily flat. The atmosphere is fun too. I can email you more about it. I'll keep my ears open for a good one in July/August. I'm usually gearing up for a half-marathon at that time, so I haven't done any local races during those months.

Thanks so much for the encouraging words! Hope you guys have a great weekend too! Hug those two kiddos for me!

Hi Julie!
I would love to join you on your twelve week challenge. I am not vegetarian, although I have tried it before and was pleased with actually being able to stick to it for 60 days. While i love meat, it just doesn't do much for as it did growing up. I doubt going vegetarian would be a problem for me at all, the rest of the family I doubt would join me....but I'm not ready to embark on that again just yet. My challenge will be to work out 3 days a week. i've started to lift at work when my friend and I need a break. They have a gym at work and there is a beautiful lake down the road we walk around after lunch at least 3 times a week. I just need to bump things up and stay consistent.
I don't really blog, I've thought about it before, but I doubt I have much to say that people want to read! :-)
I'm looking for a local 5k to do this summer. If you hear of one, please let me know. I'm up for it in July and onward.

Thanks for blogging and sharing your stories and challenges Julie. They help remind all of us that we're simply human, and whats important is getting back on that horse and trying again and not giving up on ourselves.

I hope you and the family have a great weekend!

How wonderful, Michelle!! Of course, you know I get all excited when people go vegetarian and begin gravitating toward vegan :) Thank you so much for sharing the results of your fast with me! Once we get all of the junk out of our diets our bodies actually start talking "truth" to us instead of sending us crazy mixed signals. Keep up the good work! God bless you too!

Im in! 53 days it is. I will begin Saturday and will have to think hard on the details of my plan since I still follow the low cal (SAD). Old habits die hard.
